Formerly MoD Mount Wise, this site has been in military use since the 18th century when Admiralty House was built as the official residence of the Governor of Plymouth. Firmac Developments has purchased the site and is working with local organisations notably the City of Plymouth, the Devonport Regeneration Community Partnership, the local community and other stakeholders to create a plan for the redevelopment of the site.
The intention is to create a vibrant mixed-use scheme including offices, residential development, sporting facilities and community uses that preserve the site’s important heritage and environmental assets. The site is of tremendous historical significance to the City of Plymouth and of strategic importance to the renaissance of Devonport. Firmac Developments is delighted to be part of this exciting regeneration opportunity.
The site is approximately 11.5 hectares.
